We're Dave and Jane — a Kiwi and a Californian who met at Burning Man, fell in love on a road trip through Central America, and never quite got Costa Rica out of our systems.
Years later we returned to Guanacaste for Christmas with our kids Ava and Dylan, and the magic hit us all over again. Horse riding on the beach at dusk with no one else in sight. Fish caught that morning from the ocean in front of us. Produce from a roadside stand. A sunset that made time stop. Two days before Christmas 2019, we went under contract on Casa Roberta — and just like that, we were in the vacation rental business.
