Hello Friends,
We are the face behind PuraVida Life Properties and our Mission is simple: to provide memorable beach vacations to people seeking to relax, unwind and experience the wonderful culture of Costa Rica.
Pura vida (pronounced poorah veedah) literally means “pure life” but to the locals or ‘Ticos’ it reflects their laid back attitude to living. It’s no wonder that Costa Rica is touted as one of the happiest countries in the world and attracts tourists seeking more simplicity and less reasons to feel stressed.
I’m Dave and I grew up in New Zealand and my wife Jane is a California native. We met at Burning Man in 2005 and spent our first date traveling through Central America where we fell in love with the jewel in the crown, Costa Rica.
15 years later we returned with our two children and went horse riding at dusk on an empty beach and knew we had to own a piece of this paradise. Where else could we get all of this just 5 hours flight from our home in Colorado? A home away from home that provides an easy way to unplug and experience a wonderfully different culture.
ABOUT PURAVIDA LIFE
We are professional short term rental hosts. You are not renting a house that someone else lives in, our homes are purpose-fit for vacations and sabbaticals.
Our goal is to provide a home rental experience that helps our guests easily disengage from their normal routines. To achieve this, we have a team on the ground in Playa Potrero to take care of your during your stay lead by Lis Garcia who will handle your check-in, manage cleaning and repairs, and make reservations on your behalf.
Fun and happiness are at the core of what we do and why we do it and we are thrilled to share this with our guests through the beauty and vibrance of Playa Potrero. We also value:
